George Elroy Boyd, Canada's first Black national news anchor, dies at 68
According to Boyd's obituary published in the Halifax Chronicle Herald on Saturday, he died July 7 at Mont Sinai Hospice in Montreal. Boyd was one of the original anchors on CBC Newsworld in 1989.
