Lunar dust could pose serious threat to future moon bases and astronauts: study

The sun is glinting off the visor of an astronaut on the moon as they kneel on the lunar surface and let moon dust slip through their fingers with the lunar landing base and rover behind them.

A new analysis of the Apollo missions and the characteristics of lunar soil shows that rocket exhausts kick up four to 10 times more dust than previous estimates suggested.
