P.E.I. Symphony Orchestra's music director wins national award — the last of its kind

Jaelem Bhate, the conductor and music director of the P.E.I. Symphony Orchestra, has received the Jean-Marie Beaudet Award in Orchestra Conducting from the Canada Council for the Arts, becoming the final recipient in the award’s history.
